mayushiii | 2nd Upa [Video/Action for Goldenrod]

[Mayuri is feeling perky today, more than she usually is. She's happily sipping on some soda drink can as she rests on a bench next to the massive department store building. She's even subconsciously bobbing her head back and forth to the uplifting music Her newly evolved Togetic can be found sitting next to her in the corner of the video.]

Tutturu ♫~! It's Mayushii again!

This big ole city is just like Tokyo. It's even got a bullet train running all day long! Anybody wanna go for a shopping trip together? Mayushii will wait for you right here!

[She points the camera to the Department Store building and then back to here.]

[Locked to Minoriko Aki]

[As luck would have it, the breeding center was only a very short trip down the road from the entrance of where Goldenrod stood. And even if it took a while, Mayuri could make quick work of it now thanks to having more transportation options. She comes in riding on her Luxray for the outside area, and if Aki is inside she'll just hop off and go ask around for her with the staff.

Eventually she will meet with her again.]

[Locked to Honey]

While Mayuri didn't know where Honey was staying, she had a decent idea of where to find him. Which meant walking into a bakery where they sold delicious cakes for sale. She brought a small slice of vanilla with white frosting for herself and waited around on one of the tables. Occasionally she fed Pipi small spoonfuls of it too, because she couldn't resist spoiling the little creature.]

[Mayuri only has her already mentioned Luxray and her starter Togepi now Togetic out on the field with her. But if given enough space, she can let out some of her critters for fresh air.

She gave a wave back and dismounted off her electric lion.]

Akiii! It's been a while, have you been having fun?

[Minoriko looks at Mayuri's pokémon for a moment. It looks like they've done some growing too. Which is to be expected, of course.]

I suppose I have. Working here has been very interesting, and I've learned quite a bit.

[She rumanges through her belongings in her pack and pulls out a small object shaped like a wing. Which she is proud of earning through her hard work and dedication.]

[Then she tilts her head at the last part of her sentence. In the meantime her two mons that are out and about go join Aki's pokemon to play with.]

Mayushii thought you didn't like battle? Cause that's why you took up this breeding thing.

[Minoriko watches their pokémon play for a few seconds before answering her question.]

I don't particularly care for it, and apparently I don't require the badge to use HM moves. However, there seems to be a good payout, and it's the only way to obtain HMs and certain TMs. Of course, I would not consider battling them if my pokémon did not wish to.

Mmmhm, they gave me this TM for free! [She pulls out the Roost TM to show.] Just so you know what is and all. Don't know what to use it on right now.

[Aki's last sentence reminds her of something else too.] By the way, I've got something else to show you too!

TMs help in the process of passing on certain moves to eggs, from what I've learned. It may be useful to obtain as many as I can.

[Minoriko gives her a curious look.] Oh? What is it?

Mayushi wants to ask you a tiny favor.

[She takes out one of her pokeballs and rests it on the palm of her hand.]

This little guy just doesn't like to battle much at all. Maybe he wants to be with a person who doesn't battle much at all.

[Minoriko figures it out fairly quickly.]

Are you suggesting I take care of him? If that's your request, I can certainly do my best to fulfill it.

Mmhm! You should meet him first!

[The pokeball is released to reveal a Vulpix, who immediately goes in behind Mayuri to hide.]

Don't be shy!

[She rubs the little fox on the top of his head to soothe him.]

I suppose I should.

[Minoriko smiles at the small fox pokémon, and holds out a hand. Her Chikorita had been the same way when he'd hatched. Just a shy little thing, but after working with him, he'd gotten better for the most part.]

Well, aren't you adorable?

He's cute, isn't he?

[Mayuri stepped back to let the Vulpix be seen. He didn't seem to warm up to Aki right away, and trotted a few steps away from her.]

Dontcha worry, Aki's gonna take good care of you!

He is!

[Well, it is lunch break. So thankfully, Minoriko has another form of persuasion. She holds out a piece of food towards the Vulpix.]

It's alright, I'm not going to harm you. Neither will the others.

[Mayuri even gently pushes the little red fox towards it.]

Don't worry.

[Slowly the Vulpix takes the food, nibbling on the end of it. Luckily, there wasn't anyone else around as the other Pokemon were preoccupied with catching up with each other several feet away.]

[Most of Minoriko's pokémon are fairly calm and gentle. The only one the vulpix might have to worry about is her Kabuto. Which is currently still busy eating.]

There, see? It's fine.

Hehe, I think he'll get along just fine. Aki's a good breeder!

[Soon enough, it finishes the food Aki held up for it to take. Then the fox hops on the same bench Aki is sitting on.]

I'm sure he will. I do my best to take care of all my companions.

[She slowly reaches over to pet the fox.]

Is there anything you can tell me about his likes and dislikes?

Umm, he's not too picky with food, you can feed him a lot of stuff. He really likes having his fur brushed, and he doesn't like ghost types all that much. Make sure to give him lots of encouragement too!

[Vulpix accepts the pettings, in fact he goes back to resting on the bench.]

That's good to know. [She nods as Mayuri explains.]

Sounds like he's in luck, then.

[Now for a change of subject. Mayuri finally sits down to join them.]

Have you bred anymore eggs since last time?

[Minoriko shakes her head.]

No, not yet. I decided to give them at least a one month break between batches.

I see. So you're staying here from now on?

[It was a nice place and Mayuri felt like at home at the city right next to it, but she wanted to travel around now that she had a chance too. Plus the whole collecting badges shtick.]

For a while, yes. I will venture out at some point however, in order to find a semi-permanent dwelling where I can breed and raise pokémon myself, as well as fruits, vegetables, and berries.

Tell Mayushii where you're going to stay, okay dokie? I'll come visit sometime. Hehe, it'll be better than staying in an Inn.
