[Mayuri is feeling perky today, more than she usually is. She's happily sipping on some soda drink can as she rests on a bench next to the massive department store building. This big ole city is just like Tokyo. It's even got a bullet train running all day long! Anybody wanna go for a shopping trip together? Mayushii will wait for you right here!

[As luck would have it, the breeding center was only a very short trip down the road from the entrance of where Goldenrod stood. And even if it took a while, Mayuri could make quick work of it now thanks to having more transportation options. She comes in riding on her Luxray for the outside area, and if Aki is inside she'll just hop off and go ask around for her with the staff.

Eventually she will meet with her again.]

While Mayuri didn't know where Honey was staying, she had a decent idea of where to find him. Which meant walking into a bakery where they sold delicious cakes for sale. She brought a small slice of vanilla with white frosting for herself and waited around on one of the tables. Occasionally she fed Pipi small spoonfuls of it too, because she couldn't resist spoiling the little creature.]

Goldenrod's definitely one of the flashier cities out there, but if you're aiming for a shopping spree, I'd recommend checking out Celadon sometime. That city's packed with shops and attractions.

[Plus, it's basically Kanto's fashion capital. Riku doesn't care for that aspect, but hey. She's a girl, and don't girls like that sort of thing?]

Isn't that in Kanto? It would be a super duper long trip, even with Cloud to help out.

[Because there didn't seem to many cars around or planes for that matter.]

You could just hitch a ride on the magnet train. Drops you off right in Saffron, and from there, it's a short flight into town.

Hey, no problem. I live in Celadon, so I know from experience what it's like to hop between regions. Kind of a pain at first, but you get used to it.

Plus, the train pass is reusable, so that huge fee doesn't mean a lot in the long run.

[P20,000 is a ton, but it could be much, much worse. Newbies who ride the ferry have to pay P2000 per ride.]

20,000. It's steep, but well worth it, if you ask me. Even if you ignore the big cities like Celadon, Kanto's still got a lot going for it.

Then Mayushii will have to pay a visit sometime. It'll be just like revisiting the games!
